Virtual Workshops

Be a part of making a difference

TUC has tailored workshops for virtual engagements with corporates committed to the protection of Canada’s water resources. The workshops are ideal for remote teams and organizations that strive to deepen knowledge on sustainable practices. Currently available workshops include Seed Bomb Making, TUC Environmental Talks, Virtual Reality Field Trips and Paint Night.

Paint and Learn: Species at Risk

Create art for awareness

The workshop begins by inviting participating corporate volunteers to choose species at risk from a list provided by TUC and engage in a painting activity virtually under the direction of a professional local artist.

Making Seed Bombs

Create explosive landscapes

The workshop begins by confirming seeds selected are native to the geographic region of participating corporate volunteers. A TUC biologist will demonstrate steps of making a seed bomb. TUC will provide ingredients enough to make up to 20 seed bombs per person.

Lunch and Learn: TUC Environmental Talks

Join the conversation on conservation

The workshop begins with icebreaker activity, completed together but independently through meeting platform. Participating corporate volunteers get an opportunity to calculate their individual carbon footprint with the guidance of TUC’s workshop facilitator. Workshop helps to promote an environmentally friendly organizational culture.

Virtual Reality Field Trips

Bringing nature into your office

TUC’s virtual reality field trips entail immersive site visits that allow corporate participants to access the full context of TUC’s project sites and natural habitats from the comfort of their home/office. There are live and recorded sessions. Under live session, TUC field staff will join the meeting and share a real-time 360° view of a project site. Recording of the project site will enable participants to tour the project site using a 360° view while receiving project insights from a TUC workshop facilitator.
