Paint and Learn: Species at Risk
The workshop begins by inviting participating corporate volunteers to choose species at risk from a list provided by TUC and engage in a painting activity virtually under the direction of a professional local artist. Participants will be able to share painting and hold discussions in groups through breakout rooms. There will be quizzes at the end of the workshop.
Learning opportunities:
- Presentation on the efforts and achievements of TUC in the protection of species at risk and habitat remediation.
- TUC has a long-standing partnership with the government of Alberta and other like-minded organizations on Native Trout Recovery Programs.
- Up to date information on state of aquatic species at risk in Canada and strategies for advocacy to improve habitat for species at risk.

Ideal group size: 15-20 people
