The Stream Rehabilitation Training Program (SRT) provides up-to-date information on the science and best practices of rehabilitating stream ecosystems and their associated watersheds. The six workshops are designed for both conservation volunteers and environmental professionals that wish to learn and implement successful rehabilitation projects. These workshops guide students through an understanding of watershed and stream ecosystems, assessment and monitoring, rehabilitation planning, and finally implementation. Please download our syllabus for more details.

The course is directly delivered by professionals with years of on-the-ground experience planning and implementing rehabilitation projects. One of the key outcomes of the training program is the creation of a community of practice that supports its members and advances the application of science-based watershed and stream rehabilitation. The program’s goal is to provide the most current science and training for those that care for their local watersheds and streams. SRT is a major milestone towards that outcome.
