Volunteers NeededVolunteers are needed to assist in the continuation of the Bow River Chapter’s annual redd count.

Since 2015, the Chapter has conducted an inventory of brown trout spawning activity in the Bow River. This information is useful in monitoring the population health of the Bow River’s important brown trout.

Volunteers will assist the Chapter’s biologists and angling professionals by identifying and recording the number and GPS location of redds.

We will float the river in rafts and/or boats between Glenmore Trail and Policeman’s Flats on Saturday, November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd.

It is not necessary to attend both days. We will be covering a different reach of the river each day.
Refreshments will be provided
