ALBERTA Cabin Creek: Riparian Rehabilitation Volunteer Work Day 2024

RIPARIAN HARVESTING (May 1, 2024 Morning) Volunteers will harvest and prepare live willow stakes used during restoration activities. This involves cutting, trimming, and bundling willow cuttings.

RIPARIAN PLANTING (May 1, 2024 Afternoon) Volunteers will help plant the previously harvested willow stakes. These bioengineering activities will help stabilize slumping banks and recover damaged riparian areas.
